Dear friends and friends to be,

I entered a contest called the Boss Loop Contest 2011 and I didn’t get past the first stage. I was disappointed but I now realise that my act wasn’t quite good enough, my video looked unprofessional and I also realised that I wasn’t keeping to my original plan as laid out below…..So I have deleted the video from my YouTube account so that I can start again and be true to my plan.

My plan is to create a set of music that is based upon the Hermetic Principles and the chakras for people to dance to and use the vibrations, rhythms, and modes of music that I sing to enable any stuck energy to move from their being. So the song ‘Ebb & Flow’ in it’s original format wouldn’t have enabled that to happen as I don’t feel that it was long enough.

‘Ebb and Flow’ is all about how life is always changing around us and that it will always be that way. It is the 5th of the Hermetic Principles (The Principle of Rhythm). These principles are the basis for what I want to be sing about and base my set upon.

I also believe that the principles link up to the 7 chakras, so this principle would link up with the solar plexus, (which to me means that we have a choice of how we respond to the ebb and flow of life). We can use our will of the solar plexus to rise above the ebb and flow.

So with this in mind, I realised that I wrote the song to be 5 minutes long so that it would fit for the contest’s rules, however the reason I am doing this music is because I want it to be a vibrational healing and learning tool and not because I want to win competitions with it. So deleting the video means that I can start again and be true to my original plan.
Let me know what you think.
With my love,
Be

  1. Be, it was good and interesting, why not wait and delete when superceded? It is also interesting to know the progression and changes, it helps listeners to understand/empathise etc.

  2. Thanks for your input Mummiosa… I hear what you're saying and think that you are right. However in this instance I felt that the quality could have been so much better, so I'm going with my instincts on this one! I want to be seen and known as someone who produces quality throughout and only goes with what totally feels right. I will keep your comment in mind though. Thank you.
